The Department of Microbiology was started in the year 2015.The Department is having all amenities for the basic microbiological research. The Department is committed to excellence in Education,research and extension. Over the years,the department has received grants from various funding agents.The Department also organize trainings, workshops for students and scholars on various advance fields of Microbiology. Standard curriculum as per the TANSCHE syllabus is followed and being updated periodically to improve the subject knowledge and skillsof thestudents to clear CSIR-UGC, NET, SLET, TNPSC competitive Examinations.
