The Department of Computer Science and Engineering along with the University FEAT Training and Placement Cell works dedicatedly to ensure that eligible students of the department are provided with the right opportunities in the IT sector to highlight their skills and talent.

The department also has two faculty members who serve as placement coordinators. The primary responsibilities of the placement coordinators are acting as a point of contact between the Training and Placement Cell and the students of the department, mentoring the students, and providing them with guidance in choosing the right path of career.

The department plays a vital role in locating job opportunities for the students who are all passing out from the department by keeping in touch with top-notch companies. The department operates round the year to facilitate interactions between companies and budding graduates.

The illustrious alumni of the institution have extended their fullest support in placement-related activities and roped in many companies for the campus drive, besides conducting pre-placement training programs at frequent intervals to improve the students’ skillset.

In addition to the training and placement, guidance on entrepreneurship and awareness programs relating to competitive exams and bank exams are also being regularly conducted. The students are also encouraged to register for SWAYAM online courses and value-added courses to strengthen their career opportunities.

From the 2022–2023 academic year, three hours per week for placement training have been made mandatory for third- and fourth-year students and included in the class timetable. Placement training sessions are being held not only during placement hours but also during free time and after college hours.
